Chris Dean (MS)

Bioinformatics Programmer,
MS (c) Computational Biology

Chris is a Master’s student in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology where he applies statistical and computational methods to derive meaning from biological sequence data. Prior to that, Chris worked on the development of algorithms to process and analyze next-generation sequence data from large metagenomic datasets. Although a computer scientist by training, Chris has experience in every step of the analysis pipeline from sample preparation to sequencing to the bioinformatics.
